Are you as disturbed as i am?

So i borrowed a copy of Twilight off a friend and have been reading it. Its pretty easy to read though there are times when the writing is a bit painful. Its better than The Da Vinci Code which i could not even finish.

I can understand the books appeal. The main character is pretty much a portrait of the books reader. An awkward,plain girl whose never had a boyfriend - yup that was me as a teenager.
Edward though does not appeal to me. He's not evil enough - no where near as evil as Heathcliff but he's not nice enough either. He's just not enough of a batard or a rough - though he has got some cool lines.
